The 33rd Milan No-Till Field Day, Tennessee’s largest and most popular biennial field event, brought together farmers, agricultural professionals, industry leaders, and the local community to explore innovations in no-till farming practices. Soil Management Lab contributed two presentations highlighting sustainable crop production. Research Scientist Dr. Rachel Wooliver spoke on crop diversification strategies, while graduate student Rahul Chandra presented research on the benefits of broiler litter application. Their talks showcased the lab’s ongoing efforts to advance soil health and resilience in Tennessee cropping systems.
