Congratulations to PhD candidate Binsiya Kallingal, who earned third place in the oral presentation competition of the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA) Forest, Range, and Wildland Soils Division at CANVAS 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Binsiya’s presentation, “Organically Managed Native Warm-Season Grasses for Improving Soil Health in the Southeastern United States,” highlighted her research on establishing native warm-season grasses (NWSGs) in organic livestock systems.
